An Overview Of Human Design and its Types
Human Design offers us an insight to the nature of what it means to be a human, living each day as ourselves. Life is often complex and confusing unless we come to understand how we function in the world as individuals. That understanding, through the lens of Human Design, uses four Types, with each Type having its own Strategy to safely and confidently guide us in our decision making process.
Knowing your Design Type can give you a deep understanding of why you do or react to some things the way you do and why others do the same. Understanding your Type will, in time, open a path of compassion and true understanding for the nature of what it means for all of us to be living our own unique human experience.
Each Type has an aura that extends in a six foot circumference from our bodies. People meet your aura long before they come face to face with you. The provocative nature of our aura does the talking for us.

GENERATORS
GENERATORS are often referred to as Energy Producers and Life’s Busy Bees. The signature of an Awakened Generator is Satisfaction. Generators carry life’s most powerful motor within them. In the same way a gas or electric generator produces electricity. Generators generate energy for the planet, for themselves and for others. Generators are designed to work and partner with others but often abandon themselves to outside authorities and / or the task at hand, sacrificing themselves along the way.

manifestors
MANIFESTORS are the Initiators – the Overseers of Their Domain, much like lions in the animal world. The signature of an Awakened Manifestor is peace. The Manifestors possess the power to initiate and bring things into being without needing to wait for others. This characteristic makes Manifestors far more independent and self-reliant than other types. It also makes them more unpredictable, as others never know how they will use their power. For this reason, none of the other Types experience more resistance than the Manifestor.

Projectors
PROJECTORS are non-energy types - Administrators of the New Order. Like a fox, their alert and creative nature helps others navigate and discover a safe path forward. The signature of an Awakened Projector is success. Projectors are the newest Type to arrive on the planet, emerging around 1781. They are here to eventually move into positions of greater power as effective administrators, taking leadership itself in a new direction. They can be shrewd and are keenly aware of environment, intuitively sending the best or safest path for others.

reflectors
REFLECTORS - stand alone in their Design. They can be compared to the canary in the coal mine that informs minors if the environment in the mine is safe or not. The signature of an Awakened Reflector is surprise. They live by a completely different set of rules outside the norms of society. Reflectors are keenly aware and able to reflect to others what is not obvious. They have a gift of being able to sample, reflect and judge the quality of the ever changing environment around them. They make up 1% of the population.
